Tobi y el árbol de Navidad~

Tobi conoció al arból de Navidad~! :D

Pero primero, una pequeña historia... nuestra primera Navidad despues de casarnos compranos un arbolito enanito (porque era lo mas barato pero tambien porque era muy lindoo y pequeño~) nunca lo cambiamos porque no teniamos una buena razón para hacerlo. Ahora, quiero uno más grande para que Tobi lo disfrute, pero hasta que mem decida cual comprar, decoré el arbolito enanito una vez más. A Tobi le encantó aunque no es mucho más alto que él cuando está sentado. No lo dejaba de tocar y lo recogió y botó al piso más de una vez~ jajajaja

Baby meets Christmas Tree~

Tobi met our Christmas tree~! :D 

So, here's a little story... our first christmas after we got married we got this teeny tiny tree (mainly for money issues but also because it was cute~) we never changed it, there was no real reason to. Now, I want a bigger tree so Tobi can enjoy it but whie I decide which one I want, I decorated the tiny tree one last time. Tobi really enjoyed it, it's so tiny it's not that much taller than him sitting down. He couldn't stop touching it and he actually knock it down a few times~ ahahha 

Tobi tiene 5 meses~!

Tobi tiene 5 meses!! Qué?! Cuándo?!

Está tan grande que la ropa de 6 meses ya le quedan justas pero está tan adorable~!

Aprendió a darse vuelta solito y ahora no para. Ahora cada vez que lo dejamos de espaldas se da vuelta inmediatamente.

Todavía odia los viajes en auto pero lo está soportando mejor. Se Está riendo mucho, y tiene la risita más linda. Se ríe cuando escucha los patos que viven aquí cerca.

Y en estos últimos días a dominado el arte de sentarse. Aún necesita apoyo pero se ha sentado por si solo un par de veces :)

Esta vez se ha quedado quieto para sacar las fotos pero sus manos fueron muy rápidas para mi y antes de poder deternelo ya tenía la mano en el merengue~ ajjajajaja

PS: Nuestro departamento anterior tenía mucha luz natural todo el día. Se podían sacar fotos hermosas ahí. Rápido y fácil. En este depratamento no hay luz. A ninguna hora del día. Absolutamente nada. Nada. Cero. Sacar fotos aquí es dificíl :( Extraño my departamento viejo......

Tobi's five months old~!

Tobi is five months old!! What?! When?!

He's getting so big 6 months old clothes are getting snug but he's also getting incredibly cute~!

He learn how to roll over by himself and won't stop doing it. Now every time we leave him on his back he turn over almost immideately.

He still hates car rides but it's getting better. He's laughing a lot, he has the cutes laugh. He laughs when he hears the ducks that live around our neighborhood.

And in the last few days has almost mastered the art of sitting. He still needs support but he has sat down by himself a couple of times :)

This time he stood still long enough for taking the pictures but his hand where to quick for me and grabbed the merengue before I could stop him~ hahahahah

PS: Our old appartment had lots and lots of natural light coming in all day long, I could take beautiful pictures there, quick and painless. In this a apartment there's no light, none whatsoever. Nada. Zero. Taking pictures here is hard :( I miss my old appartment....

Baby Ewok Costume~ | Tobi's first Halloween~!

Hiiii~!

Today I'm going to show you how I made Tobi an Ewok costume for Halloween~ It was soeasy and super, super cute~!

All I needed was this baby bear costume that I found on Wallmart.com and some brown fabric.

 I got rid of that blue bowtie and that rainbow blanket thingy that came with the costume. I only needed to work on the head piece and the fabric. I made two holes to put the ears through and just wrap it around the circle where the face goes. I sewed it in place in a few places, it didn't need much to stay in place.

Then I just sewed in some details and adjusted the length so it would cover the stomach but not the legs and done~! 

I had some felt around so I made a spear with it and a stick. I filled it with cushion filling so it'd be soft and Tobi wouldn't hit his eye.

The End Result

Tobi looked happy and seem to have fun, but we definetely had more fun taking pictures of him~! hehehe~ 

Disfraz de Bebe Ewok~ | El primer Halloween de Tobi~!

Holaa~!

Hoy les quiero mostrar como hice este disfraz de Ewok para Tobi para su primer Halloween~ Fue muy fácil y súper, súper lindo~!

Todo lo que necesite fue este disfraz de bebé que encontré en Wallmart.com y un poco de tela café.

Lo primero que hice fue sacrle esa corbatita azul y una tela de arcoiris que venía con el disfraz. Solo necesite trabajar en la pieza de la cabeza y la tela. Hice dos agujeros en la tela para pasar las orejitas y hice que la tela siguiera la forma alrededor de la cabeza. Cosí la tela al disfraz en una par de lugares para que no se moviera, pero no necesitaba mucho para eso.  

Luego solo hice un par de detalles y corté la tela para que cubriera el estómago peor no las piernas u listo~!

Tenía un poco de fieltro por ahí y lo use para hacer una lanza con el y un palito. Lo rellené con un poco de relleno de un cojín para que fuera suave y Tobi no se sacará un ojo.

El Resultado Final

Tobi se veía feliz y parecía que se estaba divirtiendo, pero definitivamente nos divertimos más nosotros sacándole fotos~! heheh~
